Leveraging existing data from the feasibility phase and supplementing it with additional data, Civitas meticulously developed the design for each identified project, fostering collaboration to meet all stakeholder and agency requirements. We expeditiously developed 30% design based on preferred alternatives, using 3D modeling techniques to easily review critical areas, and progressed to 60% and 90% PS&E with detailed H&H, stormwater, traffic, and structural designs. Maintaining long-term relationships with entities like the City of Houston, HCED, HCFCD, TxDOT, USACE, private utilities, and railroad companies, Civitas ensured successful project implementation through early coordination and comprehensive review processes. We prepared construction drawings, cost estimates, and project manuals, establishing milestone submittals to manage costs through design, and conducted value engineering reviews before agency permit approvals, ensuring clear, transparent information and meeting all submittal requirements and deadlines.
